Seminar: Displaced persons - May 2011

The National Archives of Australia, Brisbane Office will be holding a free seminar on Displaced Persons. This seminar will look at the history and consequences of mass movement of displaced people in the world and the changes they brought to Australia. After World War II, Australia's intake of displaced (stateless) persons was second only to the United States of America. Find out about their stories and the programs that supported them to make Australia home.
