Info Guides - Adoption and seminar idea

I find the guides helpful. They help by giving the nuts and bolts of a topic simply and directly.

The one on adoption shows you may need guidance from many places to find  a biological parent or child. It would be great if the library could host a seminar which brings some of these groups together. Some people find the search hard and heart wrenching.

How do I get into this as I do not have a log on?

Comment added 9am, Wednesday 16th Jun 10 by "Lesley Charlton"

Hi Lesley, an index to Queensland mining accidents from 1882 to 1900 can be searched online at our website - http://fhr.slq.qld.gov.au/minacc/ We also have an index to appointments and removals of Queensland railway employees between 1890 and 1901 - http://fhr.slq.qld.gov.au/qldrail/ . Is this useful to your research? - Myles

It is to a point but I am refering to the actuall index it needs a user name and password I am a member of the state library of qld and I do have an E card

Hi Lesley, I checked the linking to the indexes and the log-in box was to our back-of-house web page design program. This is now fixed so that when you log-in it should go straight to the indexes. Sorry for the confusion. - Kirsten
