Tasty Treasures - records of food and drink in the National Archives

The National Archives of Australia at Cannon Hill, Brisbsane is holding a free public seminar on Wednesday 16 and Saturday 19th February 2011.

The Seminar is about the history of food and drink in Australia and Queensland.  By searching our records, we have made some gastronomical discoveries.  The seminar will look at the types of food we once cooked, eary cafe and resturants and the history of wine and much more, even how to read a tea cup!

It is an amazing journey.  The seminars are free and morning tea will be supplied.

Seminars start at 10am and run for approximately for one hours.
