Researching Local History talk - 03.03.12, 10:00am

Emeritus Professor John Laverty will present a talk entitled Researching Local History on 3 March at Ashgrove Library, Amarina Avenue 10am-11am.  John will highlight books to read, other written records to access and various archives that may prove useful for those pursuing local history research.  Refreshments will follow the presentation. John’s publication, Advice for Local History Researchers, is available from the Ashgrove Historical Society for $10 +p&h.  Please direct enquiries to AHS secretary, Julie, at email: ahs.secretary@bigpond.com  or call 3366 4621.
